Paintings of the Dingle Peninsula /

Landscape and seascape paintings of the beautiful hills and moody coastal views of Dingle area; prints also available.

These are paintings of the Dingle Peninsula, which is quite simply one of the earths most beautiful and visually inspiring places. It is difficult to describe its glorious moods, colourful hills, long sandy beaches and distinctive islands. There are many splendours to enjoy and it is an ever changing environment. The hedgerows and roadsides are often festooned with wildflowers and fuchsia, making it a delight to walk and discover the richness there. Wildlife is plentiful, and bird-lovers are in their element, with so many different species to see. The peninsula is also astoundingly rich in history and archaeological sites. It's an amazing environment for people of all interests and especially for artists from all over the world.

Many of my paintings are available as limited edition prints. Photos of the Dingle Peninsula etc. are also available. See other categories on this site.

All pictures can be shipped, but preferably unframed, if glass is needed. The lighter the picture the lower the price of postage. Free post on unframed works to Irish addresses.

Enquiries welcome; I am happy to answer any questions.  I HAVE A GALLERY OF MY PAINTINGS AND SLIDE SHOWS WHICH IS OPEN TO VISITORS.

If you are visiting Dingle you are likely to do the wonderful scenic Slea Head Drive.  You will find my gallery just a mile or two past Ballyferriter village, about 100 yards off the main road, the first road on the left after Brick's pub. It's on a bend so hard to see until you're there.  I am always delighted to meet visitors, including those who just like to look. Phoning in advance is advised in case I'm out, but not strictly necessary. Phone 087 1352278. The location can be seen on Google maps.
